  • veeral says:

Hey mark did you dose ammonia with dr.tim bacteria? you said you do top off with kalk, then why u going for two part? or is it something like b-ionic two part??

  • Mark H. says:

    Pretty sweet Mark… ๐Ÿ™‚

  • donny says:

    Hey Mark
loving the new build so far, The only trouble is, I want to do a new build now. good luck with it and can’t wait to see it progress

  • Thanks Byron…i’m not much of a basketball fan either.

  • Murat…I still have it. It is living with someone else for the moment.

  • Well ill be joining you as im moving from a 92corner to a 150 custom. Will be watching for more updates

    Hi Mark:

What about those people ho paid for your guide last year, do we have access to those new videos as well?.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Matt says:

Great … Now we have to buy a bigger tank! I don’t even like rimless tanks… !! Who am I kidding… EVERYONE loves these tanks… they look faaaaaaaaaar to good ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Scott says:

Love saltwater tanks but March Madness is the best sporting event of the year!!!

  • Ben VanderNoort says:

Sweet, Mark. I thing……..the window in the back of your tank!! Cover that from the out side or if you still can inside. The change is small that something will come flying trough it but I can tell you a story about a
800 gallon freshwater set up with a window in the back too!! Not so pretty when you come home and saltwater is greeting you at the front door step or………………..in your case when your future APEX is sending your a message that you have only 5 gallons left in the tank. Just my two cents. Why not going custom LED’s, you have a better color on coral and more growth out of it too and more control over it. I have one built for my 30 gallon Nano sps, and gonna have built for my 120 reef scape. PS, know any body who wants to buy 3 AI super blue with frame and 2 controllers??

  • avasquez says:

Mark, when will you be adding the cleaning crew?

  • Mad Hatter's Reef says:

Great Video mark, you had me for a minute. I actually thought you were going to just throw those fish in the tank and call it good. I should know better than that ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy your Reef.

  • stel1os72 says:

Great job as always Mark! Like Hysa, I too would like to know if all of us previous NNG buyers will have access to the NEW vids you added. Thanks.

  • Jamieson Currie says:

    Dr. Tims is the best.

  • Gabriel Owens says:

I too would much rather watch saltwater tank build than basketball, but i’m no hater, enjoy, thanks again for all the great information that you provide all of us with in this forever changing hobby Mark, really enjoying the new build.

  • d0lph1n says:

Great stuff especially the Dr.Tim formula that I wasn’t aware off.
Good luck with your new built.

  • james says:

Hey mark I have a question about your Rimless tank

Are you concerned about humidity problems

Are you concerned about the smell

  • Paul says:

    Mark,

I’m upgrading my tank to a 95 gal L-shape and going to be utilizing a steel stand with a wood wrap. In your build are you going to give in depth details behind designing and creating your wrap? That would be awesome.

  • todd says:

where do you get your real reef rock what is it called

  • Paul…by “wrap” do you mean the wood i’m going to put on the stand? If so, I’m not going to put wood on the stand. Instead I’m going to get a wood worker to make another skin like I had on my 90g.

  • James…no concern on the smell as a properly maintained tank doesn’t stink.

Humidity will be interesting as this tank is much larger and the room it sits in gets a lot of sun. I’ll keep you posted on that one.

  • caesar says:

great looking tank .I almost screamed when you started talking about cycling until you showed Dr Tim’s. ill be using it after seeing your videos. I should receive mine tomorrow for a new 150g if its good enough for Mr saltwater. it has to be good enough for me

  • ray says:

Awesome tank! Hope you don’t have too bad algae problems.

  • honkit says:

    Hi Mark,

Where will you be getting your corals from? Online retailers like Vivid and Ora or from your local LFS?

  • jhunt says:

Hey mark. Are you considering having more tang? I know purple tangs can be very aggressive so maybe another aggressive large tang would work such as a Naso

  • I”d like to have 1-2 more tangs in this system. Not sure on the choice yet though.

  • honkit…likely online as at the moment, the fish stores around here don’t have great coral selection.

  • Henry says:

    Hi Mark:

Same question above ….what about the people who paid for your guide last year, do they have access to those new videos as well? or we must pay for a new version to get access to a new video page?

    Thanks for your time.

  • Henry (and everyone else who asked about the new videos), I explained it in this video.

  • Mike says:

I would Like to purchase all three book but can only afford the one now. Will you be selling them again after March 8 or is this the only time to buy them?

  • I just purchased the 3 volumn set. Adobe cannot open it. Please advise.

  • Frank…I’ve sent you an email to talk to you about your issues with the guide.

  • Melissa says:

Read the guide and got to the part about suppliments. Ok, I think I may have had that neon sign over my head at some point. We just upgraded tanks, but I have been using supplements for about a year now. We do have corals and fish. Please tell me if Im waisting money. I currently use, Marine Sno, MicroVerrt, Corral Excel, Strontium and Molybdenum, Calcium, and Tech I all are from Kents. I also add phytoplankton. So, am I tossing money away? Which do I really need if any? Thanks in advance!!!!

  • John says:

    Mark,
Very good setup. Ecotech lighting I like to get down the road one day.
The company a good one they are just down the road.

  • John says:

    Mark,
Did you think of adding a piece furniture! I see on video on left windows. You do not want to block them so you may used say a hope chest to hold bottles for ATO bottle and Two parts.
All you have to do is lift the lid to get to them.

  • David says:

Does Dutch aquarium systems have a website if not do u have any places you would recommend going to look at
BTW it’s a in wall aquarium

  • David…here is the link to Dutch’s site: http://mrswt.wpenginepowered.com/site/das/

  • milind kawli says:

it is great that you gone for the rim-less tank in your new build it looks great & i have one too but without canopy Mr. Saltwater Tank too much risk of fish jumping out… so be extra careful. & i am also converting my big freshwater tank in saltwater thanks to your informative videos… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • donny says:

hey mark, just watching this video again and it said that if you buy your no nonsense guide now it will come with the new videos. I purchased mine since this video and only have access to the old videos. I have seen the links to purchase the new videos but it was my understanding that I would have gotten them with my purchase.

  • Donny…the new videos are there. I’ll send you an email.

  • milind…glad to hear you are switch to the “cool” side of aquariums!

  • Chris says:

Show your filter for your rank

  • Carlos says:

Any updates on the tank build???

  • Lecter says:

Is it true the Radions miss useable light spectrum’s and produce 50% unusable light as a result of Cree led’s being used mostly in automobile and commercial applications and have no use in horticultural apps? Why in the world would anyone want to produce a lightning storm recreation for tank raised life that never witnessed anything like that? Why not hook up a strobe light and a disco ball and trouble them for less money, and don’t forget to bang on the glass to simulate thunder as well, I’m sure it will make it a much more productive environment for the life.

  • Tom S. says:

    Hey Mark,

Where can I purchase real reef rock online? I can’t seem to find any suppliers.

  • Cyrus says:

    Hi Mark,

Going with a tank about the same dimensions as yours. Could you please mention the thickness of your glass. Thanks.
