This is great advice but I take it one step further! How many times have you bought a fish or corals from a store or both had them double bagged and when driving down the road felt a wet sensation on your butt or legs etc?For you older guys that might be normal LOL! Anyway you know what I am saying the cheap bags that they use spring leaks or the person crammed the coral in the bag etc and now you have soaked seats and possibly soaked you and the coral is exposed to air or the fish is flopping around in an empty bag. Also most times their bags are too small anyway. I have a box and stirofoam shipping container that I got from one of the fish stores I buy from so when I know I might get the urge when I am out I take it with me! Also I take a bucket so the fish I buy can have more water covering them and when I get home I can slowly drip water into the bucket for acclimation! Works great for me and no more water from leaky bags! Also in Winter or Summer the fish are insulated from extreme temperature swings! This is Lyle’s Quick Tip for Today!!! LOL!! Thank You Mark!

Yep, I’d add a cooler to that list (if it’s a frag swap a big rolling cooler!). Also, a container of extra salt water in case of sloshes or leakers.

When shopping for small fish, I always bring along an insulated lunch bag. They fit the bags nicely are insulated and I can zip them up for a nice quiet ride home!
