    Hey Mark,

Hey buddy was wondering whom you purchased your skimmer from. I purchased the swc 180 and got it today. I was all pumped up until I looked at the box and when I opened it OMG! Someone else’s Nightmare. So what are your thoughts on your SCW now that you’ve had it for a while?

    Regards,

    Rob

Hi Mark. I am curious why you would build the skimmer up when you could lower the water level? Just wondering why that wasn’t an option.

  • Michael…the water level in the sump can’t be lowered w/out cutting the acrylic baffles. It is much easier to raise the skimmer.

    Hey, Mark!

I have a 55 gallon acrylic tank, Yesterday, I installed a new Seaclone 100 hang-on skimmer. Like most newbie marine tank hobbyists I need advice on tuning it. It goes from too much foam being made, and the collection cup overflowing with water, and fine bubbles being let into the tank, to no foam output, and high water output. Please advise, or reply w/ a link to a possible solution.

    Thanks, in advance.
