Good stuff
Good tip for the daylight hours but will it hold a charge after the sun go’s down.
The Yeti 150 will output 80 watts for almost 2 hours without solar energy. The 1250 will output 1200 watts for one hour (or 120 watts for 10 hours, etc.), but it is much larger and heavier from using a car battery.
Tom…this is true. It’s meant to be a temporary fix
Thanks JasPR!
A UPS seems so much easier.
Kelley…a UPS is easier to use and unless you have a large one, they don’t last very long. And the only way to recharge them is to plug them into a working electrical outlet
Wheelchair batteries are the best to use. They can be a little spendy, but they can be worn down much farther than car batteries or even deep-cycle marine batteries. They are typically smaller and lighter, as well and can be wired in parallel to increase capacity while running at the same voltage.
I had to go with the Generac Guardian 17kw with an Automatic Transfer Switch. I dare the power to go out.

marc your anemone piece you said that if one got into a powerhead it could possibly cause the tank to crash. well in my saltwater exp I have had more crashes than an indy 500 with blind retired drunk people at the wheel until I started listening to people such as your self. ok would be the cause of the tank crashing toxins fron the anemone or? I have several polyp type ones that are everywhere that I want to get rid of but want to do it safely. any input will help thanks marc and keep up the good work dave
I got Goal Zero with solar panels. I have it plugged in all the time. Can use it for many projects that need portable power.
Uggh- I live in the UK – if someone has a good cloud/drizzle powered generator – GAME ON!
Jim K…that’s funny! Are you saying that the weather in the UK is horrid?
agreed, thats why i have both consoles and even buy the same game on both because i love the game not because of fandom over a console.VN:R_U [11791._1.61](from 2 votes)
