Also for us nano guys u could cover the pitfalls of nano reefing and the benifits and fun of doing it correctly. Finally do u(should we) routinely (monthly) cause a faux hurricane by running a power head/wavemaker over the rocks n sand to shake loose trapped detritus n other unwanted sediment? Mark, a possible idea would be for you to limit each Friday to a different topic per month. What I mean is first Friday is equipment, second Friday is coral, third Friday is chemistry etc. This may help make it easier as you have a set “schedule” on which topic is upcoming. HTH.

Regardless what you decide, thanks and keep up the great work/site.

Your viewers could probably benefit from advice on how to prepare your tank for unplanned power outages. Give advice on what equipment to have and how to keep everything alive during long outages. (Using hydrogen peroxide, battery operated air-pumps, CPU’s – and which equipment is critical to keep running as long as possible; etc.)

  • Jeanette says:

    Another quick tip video …
You should also test your system for different situations, like the power going out, and pump/return failures. That way; you can determine if you need to take additional steps to keep your tank inmates alive, and make sure your system will not flood your home. Give them advice on safety valves, equipment, and proper setup to prevent problems/flooding.
