great tip, I put water and a touch of bleach in my bucket. That way you can wait until you have a few to wash and not one or two at a time.
I put the dirty socks in a bucket full of water with a small amount of Oxyclean and cover it with a lid.
When I’m ready to clean them a few days later, the gunk cleans out much easier. I just have to make sure to rinse them thoroughly to make sure none of the Oxyclean remains.
