What the heck! Where was I when this rolled out! Lol, must’ve been working a stretch. I missed this release when you rolled it out, haha, way to sneak it by me.
Hey, +1 on that false wall; this is a brilliant idea, great recommendation! The false wall will add a pleasant dimensional affect (I agree) in that room and compliment that fantastic tank, nice! Looking forward to seeing the build Mark! See ya!
I am almost done constructing something very similar to this design but using a 125 gallon. Since the false cabinet above that tank goes to the ceiling. I am now having concerns about moisture build up. The cabinet was made of wood and as a safety measure I painted everything inside the cabinet with an oil based paint. I have also added two 3inch fans on each side of the cabinet to either push/pull air into the enclosed area. Do you think this setup will adequately prevent moisture issues???? Open to suggestions…
jawolff…the fans will help pull air out of the area around the tank, then depending on how big the room is where the tank sits, you might have a moisture build up in the room.
I’d like to start a beginner salt water tank with a 55 gallon that I cleaned and refurbished. I have a Fluval 305 canister filter but no room for a sump or protein skimmer. If I want to do a fish only with coral decorations, no live rock or live sand, will this setup suffice?
Can’t wait to see this. Im sooo pumped! Great job Mark!
wow cant wait to see it
Pretty cool!
Oh yeah, somehow I know this is going to be good!
YOU TALKED HIM OUT OF AN 8 FT TANK??? WHAT ARE YOU NUTS!!!
:p
Why is it whenever he says he has a “gift” it ends up costing us a lot of money?
Ooooooo! I can’t wait to see it. Tank envy!
I was just thinking… aren’t we about do for a video update of your 90? New live stock, equipment, etc.?
Why make the tank smaller, make the room bigger……. 🙂
Two comments:
If the tank fits between the walls, IT’S NOT TOO BIG! Taller was good. Narrower was not! :<(
What a tease!
I disagree… a tank can take over a room… its should be part of it… this isn’t the sea life centre… its our homes… 🙂
Can’t wait… thanks for the sneaky preview Mark… 😉
Congrats Mark. I’m sure it will be spectacular.
Let’s get this party started! I ask santa if he could send me STOP TANK CONFUSION book under my XMAS TREE. i’ve been a good boy!
+1 @ Grant Troutman
Great idea Grant Troutman! I was thinking the same thing!

The suspense is killing me!
When is the next time the No-Nonsense guide is available?
