Good tip Mark, when I built my house I ran my plumbing up from the basement thru the wall so all of my extra stuff is downsatirs or man cave and out of site with only a valve upstairs for an emergency shut off.

Hiding the tank? I have nothing to hide. This tip just made more sense to talk about on the floor!
As long as you are storing freshly mixed saltwater (not water from your tank), you can store it for 1-2 weeks.

A black container would prevent algal growth I suspose.
You shouldn’t get algae growth in a clean barrel with fresh salt water mix… 😉
