Good tip as usual Mark, how about a Sext Tank update? 🙂
Very good tip. Will use that one.
My son just shattered my glass measuring cup. It’s onto the soda bottle. Thanks!
Thanks Dax, Thanks Mark, great idea, because playing mad scientist every week is getting old,
Happy New Year Mark and all
Any tips getting rid of red alge?
I pour 5 x 1/2 cups of salt with almost every salt I’ve used gave my 1.025 or 1.026 reading, oh this is using a 5 gallon buckett..
Mark, how about a quick tip on water current in the tank, most algae problems are caused by the lack of current.
Thanks. love the tip. could you do another video on your tanks. 🙂
I question the placement of UV sterilizers. Do you use one? I have one which I haven’t used in years. A 36 watt for my 125 gallon originally to keep algae under control and prevent disease. I worried about killing copapods and beneficial bacteria. I don’t have any issues but thought of having it plumbed in to the return line in case I want to run it twice a week or so. What do you think?
Good tip. I use 38grams per litre but therefore required scales and different containers.
Hey Mark , were do u get all these nice decorated T-shirts?? they are pretty neat. Nice tip on saltwater mix
