Distilled is nowhere close to the same as RO/DI. Pop a TDS meter in distilled water and you will find that it contains some dissolved solids, where RO/DI will contain NONE. It is the the complete lack of dissolved solids that allows it to work well as a glass cleaner.

Salt water tank I love ur shows and opinions on reefs I have just started a 150 reef tank and I have 2 ocean stream wave makers that just don’t do the job I was wondering if you knew where to get a set of used mp 40 they are just way out of my price range for the new ones do you think I will be ok with the 2 ocean streams and thanks again for your great shows
