Securing dosing lines and any other line that carries liquid into your tank is an easy step to prevent tank emergencies. And with a saw, a drill and a short piece of PVC, you can make your own effluent line holder as seen in this tip:

    Hi Mark, great tip. But I had to run my additive lines to the main tank. When I had the lines going to my sump the additives (Alk, cal, mag) had some kind of reaction with my GFO/Carbon in the reactors and would make both hard as a rock where I had to chip and dig the GFO and Carbon out of the reactors. When I ran the lines to the main tank where the additives were more mixed with system water the problem stopped. Any ideas
