Coral growth: its not all about the lights
I love this question that I’ve been seeing on message boards lately,
“What lighting setup is best for coral growth?”
This isn’t a bad question to be asking, but it completely misses the mark.
Asking that question alone is like planting a field of corn in a swamp and saying,
“We’ve got lots of sunlight, now grow!”
Coral growth is a combination of many factors including lighting, water conditions, water flow, placement in the tank, health of the coral, potential pests in tank and the fish in the tank, etc.
If you want great coral growth, you can’t just pay attention to one of the above and expect to have everything turn out. Instead, its a balancing game of all the factors.

Is it appropriated to have 4 light T5 2 whites and 2 actinic with a tank for 300 Liters of salt water did they need more light or could this be enough ?

It depends on a couple of things:
1. What are the dimensions of your tank?
2. What type of corals do you want to keep? (If any)
3. What is your tank personality?

1.
Length -> 1,20 m
width -> 60 cm
Height -> 50 cm
2. All type of corals (some mixed)
3. I think I’m reef enthusiant.
